ON THE TRAIL

• The Polish – German biking trail on the island of Uznam / Usedom, which follows the tracks of Lyonel Feininger ‑ the American artist of German origin, fascinated by the island’s natural environment and unique landscapes; the trail features the places that were immortalised in his works; the particular places are marked with special plaques in the flagstones; the trail is ca. 50 km long.
  
  
• The trail runs through the following towns and villages (in the German part of the island of Uznam/ Usedom):Benz - Neppermin - Balm – Mellenthin – Neppermin - Benz - Sallenthin - Bansin – Heringsdorf - Ahlbeck - Świnoujście (the plaques at the former Town Hall and on the western breakwater) - Kamminke – Garz – Zirchow – Korswandt – Goethen – Sallenthin – Benz.
