Tourist Emergency Line

On June 1st will be launched an emergency telephone line for tourists, which was connected in this year, for the first time, to the Tourist Information System in Poland. From 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., during the period of June 1 until September 30, the Contact Center will be providing services for foreign tourists, by which assistance will be available in emergency situations (such as i.a. loss of passport) and other information regarding tourist attractions, accommodation, etc.

A joint initiative of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, the Polish Tourist Organisation, the Police Headquarters and the Office for Foreigners is an extremely important element of the Tourist Information System in Poland. The agreement signed on May 23, 2013 by the aforementioned institutions provides for their cooperation in this scope until 2016.
