New ferry connection Swinoujscie – Trelleborg to open
In summer season, next ferry connection to Trelleborg will be launched. German TT-Line operator of ferry services has already signed the contract with Szczecin and Swinoujscie Seaports Authority SA, which owns the ferry terminal in Swinoujscie. TT-Line will maintain the connection in the off-season. This new connection serviced by TT-Line will operate one car & passenger ferry, however it is not excluded that there will be more ferryboats.
Currently, two ferry operators: Unity Line and Polferiries provide ferry services from Swinoujscie. They service the connection with the Swedish cities of Ystad and Trelleborg. While, Copenhagen can be reached via Ystad, where the trip is continued by bus via the world’s longest bridge across the Øresund strait. Staying at Swinoujscie, it is worth to look at the offer of ferry operators and visit the neighbouring countries of Scandinavia or find specials of travel agencies that organize few days stay or day trips to Denmark and Sweden. There are many people who are willing to see the Norwegian fjords, the Little Danish Mermaid, canal houses or Carlsberg brewery. Many other attractions are waiting on tourists in the port city of Copenhagen, as well as in other towns on the other side of the Baltic.
